I had no idea I could “help people” in the marketplace. Our main purpose in life is to help people. Together, we’ve been able to use our business abilities to expand Mint Dentistry. Field Harrison who is the most brilliant entrepreneur I’ve ever met. Looking back, I realize, that all the time I thought I wasted in the medical field was actually preparation for my future. All I knew was that I wanted to help people. I had to surrender my future to God and pray over what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. īefore I knew I would be Co-Owner of Mint Dentistry, I was actually on my way to becoming a nurse. But right before I finished the nursing program at UTA, I felt God leading me in a different direction. In terms of your career, before you knew you would be _, you almost.God really does use ordinary people for His extraordinary purposes if we will energize our efforts and focus our abilities on bringing Him glory! Faith will open our eyes to see our potential to serve God and people in ways we could never imagine ourselves. The impossible will become possible as we carefully observe and obey the direction of the Holy Spirit. Faith has a way of leading us past our fears and reassuring us of God’s presence. As we follow Him, God continues to reveal His power and provision one decision at a time. Our faith has been ignited and although we don’t feel qualified or have all the resources we need-we do have a deep desire to reach people in our city who are far from God and I believe we are perfectly positioned to reach them with the love and grace we’ve freely received ourselves.Īudacious faith does not eliminate doubt and fear-but we know God’s Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light igniting the path He is leading us to pursue. God’s Word and His promises have become personal to us in this season of life. We have the audacity to believe, pray, and act in the confidence that our God is a God of the impossible. We need God to accomplish the seemingly impossible vision we believe He is asking us to pursue. In this season, my husband and I are believing for something that we know we cannot do alone or in our own strength. But God has a way of performing the most impressive achievements through the most unimpressive people-if we’re simply willing to be used. Apart from Christ, we are completely incapable of doing anything of eternal value. The impossible things God asks us to do have nothing to do with us. And, I’m still believing God for the impossible today. I have been praying for the courage to become who He is calling me to be and to do what he is calling me to do. When I look back, I see how God has been pruning me, challenging me, and stretching me to be able to trust Him on this level. I am living in a season that I earnestly prayed for years ago… Things that once seemed impossible or audacious to even think of or believe for are now a reality I am living every single day. If you could describe this season of your life in one word, what word would it be? Why?.
